    Hi All,
    Hope you all have enjoyed bhayanak summers of the Netherlands this time.
    Bahut din ho gaye toh socha naye logo ke liye kuch help ho jaaye.
    First, some basic info before you pack your bags, Some Airlines give you 40 kg baggage, and some give 23 kg Like KLM so please try to bring only important items that suit your requirements.
    So, Single se Unmarried tak aur Students se Family tak kuch naah kuch fit ho jayega.

    List of Items that can help you depending on your need:

    Kitchen and Stuff:

    • Pressure Cooker (Induction and Gas Compatible with 1 extra Rubber Ring)
    • Tea Lovers (Tea Strainer) – Chalni bolte hai pyaar se !
    • Induction Based Tawa if possible.
    • Steel Plates ( 1 or 2 ) – Ye bilkul optional hai if you are specific.
    • Steel Tong for Roti
    • Mixer (Family ke pass bahut luggage ho toh )
    • Rolling Pin and Board lightweight. I use Wood Chopper as Rolling Board by jugaad!
    • Plate Chamche you can buy here so do not have to waste space.
    • Sharp Knives.


    Food Items:
    (You can get almost everything in Indian Stores in NL), Usually price is 2 or 2.5 times compared to INR . Albert Hein > Jumbo > Vomar > Lydl >Turkish Store and Indian Stores ( Price Reference )
    • Dekho Yaha milta sab hai but still mann ho toh you can bring these.
    • Spices ( Laung, Elaichi, Raw Pepper) , Couple of Maggie Pack for initial days or emergency.
    • Jeeravan – Agar ASLI INDORI ho toh !
    • Packed food in case you are not used to cooking but limited to some items.
    • Bedroom and Clothing Related:
    • You can get most everything from Action (Yaha ka DMART), Ikea, Hema, Primark, TKmax or other local shops but they are pretty expensive.
    • Bedsheet (2) and Pillow Cover.
    • Jeans, Full sleeves Tees, a Couple of Heavy Jackets if you are coming in Sept – Feb, and the rest you can buy from here.
    • Branded Shoes (2 - Sports), 1 Sneaker and 1 Home slipper, and 1 Formal shoe for starters.
    • Swimsuit / Raincoat


    Documents Related:
    • Original Driving License / Birth Certificate / Original Pan Card/Adhaar. Recent Degree.


    Medical:
    (Yaha Medical system ke pass ek hi medicine hai Paracetamol) Toh to avoid any issues below are some references you can use. The best you can do is take general medicine and ask a local physician for a prescription for the safe side while traveling.
    • First Aid kit.
    • Medicine like :
      • Roko - loose motion,
      • Saridon,
      • Combiflame,
      • Crocin,
      • Norflox Stomach infection,
      • Entero - loose motion,
      • Vomistop - Vomit,
      • Betadine – gel,
      • Betadine – Gargle,
      • Ors – Dehydration,
      • Electrol Powder,
      • Voilini/ Move Gel, Iodex,
      • Eye/Ear Drop in General,
      • Avil/CTZ -Allergy or reaction,
      • Burnol – Abhi 2-3 logo ko Groups me diya hai lagane jo mereko badnam kar rahe the ! 😛
      • *Based on my personal storage of medicines and reference, please consult your personal doctor.
    • Kids-related medicine and stuff.
    • Blade – Shaving Kit if you use the typical flat blade like Wilkinson.


    Others :
    • Universal Travel Adapter (Least 2 ) – Must have.
    • Bathroom Mug – Pata hai naah kyu ?
    • Umbrella Strong – Small which can fit your bag.
    • Extra Pair of Glasses – Must have for people who wear glasses in daily.
    • At least 1 extra Android mobile for emergency or Indian Mobile Sim. I have already posted a long post for saving money and using Indian Sim without an extra charge. Beard Trimmer.


    Cigarette – Duty-Free se Dunhill le Lena, 2 Carton 😊 nahi toh 8.5 Euro per packet doge.

    Travel Card / Forex Card
    • For your initial transaction in Super Mart and others. The same can be used to withdraw from 100-200 euros from Airport ATM for the initial payment.
    I prefer the WISE Card for online payments and also physical card for seamless payment: https://wise.com/invite/ath/mahakr1 mann kare toh kar lena important hai .

    Abhi iske baad kya kya nahi lana ? Bhai hai toh offcourse bata ke jaayega :
    • Animal Products and foodstuffs ( Jo Jo Ghee lane ki salah de rahe , Unke liye ) are basically Udata Teer .
    • Plants, flowers, fruit, and vegetables (phytosanitary products)
