Thoda busy kya hue bhool hi gaye but I am back with some important things which can help you when moving/shifting home in Netherlands.

#IndianskeNazariye se. Now keeping in mind, - I am shifting home from Amstelveen to Amchi Amsterdam.

#Checklist before Moving the Home

• Disconnection request 3 Important things – Electricity, Gas, Water.
• Disconnection/Transfer request for Internet. KPN is providing nice offer for 35 Euro /Month for a year for 1 GB (Internet and TV ) for 12 month .
  Dekh lena bahut paisa bachega. Also ensure to schedule the Technician ASAP because it takes time to activate line sometimes and getting exact date for activation in new home.
• Lydl and AlberH ya Vomar se bring some Card Board boxes, they usually give it for free which will be handy for packing.

• Before moving ensure you ask for Heating Calculation from Owner if you think you have not used heater and they have taken charges on monthly basis you will get some money back.

• Kitchen Top Scratches or Water marks - Gamma and Praxis provides best option for paint and home requirements.
  Example – I used “Rambo Pantserlak Interieur” from gamma as per my kitchen color to get rid of that. Sandpaper 240 mm ya Barik ekdum+ Brush + Paint = 15 euro me naya kitchen tayaar.
• For Wall Scratches due to Chair or Your shoes or objects – I used the Fiber Cloth soaked in water and tried to clean it in corner, it worked so able to wipe all the scratches.
  Agar ye bhi nahi hua toh ask for Color code from the agency or owner and wahi Gamma and praxis pe chale jana.
• Ensure you count the utensils,bulb wagerah and stuff and replace/add the same if damaged or nashi me kuch tod diya ho toh.
  Usually, you can find it from Action and IKEA. Same applicable for bed sheets and stuff.
• Ensure you bring Floor Polish, All-purpose cleaner to do basic Cleaning.

• For Cleaning you can ask the local cleaners who charges from 10-15 euro a hour ( Check my Jugaad or Rental Group for same) and same for Handy man who can help you a lot for small stuff.
• For Transport I have a wonderful guy “Thomas” and “Lofti” who can be contacted for Transport Van – 0640061680 and 0644450228 .
  Charges approx. 40 euro per hour and Van toh itni badi hai ki kya hi batau. Mera naam aur reference dena extra help kar denge. For people outside Amsterdam or Amstelveen and near by they can ask them for contact.
• Please ensue you put a Note if you are using the lift in Apartment that you will be moving and will use the life . in short hawa karna padega.
• Take the Meter Reading for GWE and also note the Meter Number in new home , It will be asked by your GWE provider to start the subscription.

• Sabse Pehle ensure within 14 days you complete the Registration process.
  Example Amstelveen to Amsterdam I had to Login to Amsterdam ( New Gemmente for new home ) and apply for Moving to New Address. Here you might need to provide the Agreement of New Home to ensure your all mails and stuff is transferred from old address.
  ( Usually registering to Gemmente will automatically update your address in Insurance, License RDW, IND (RP or Job related) Government database and also after update ensure you verify the same in Government database : https://mijn.overheid.nl/ .
  You can also do the same using Post NL which can update your entire data for 5 euro https://verhuizen.postnl.nl/ but Paisa, Pyaar, samay pehle hi kam hai .
• Schools : As well as contacting the school to let them know the child will be leaving it is advisable to obtain copies of school records to give to the next school.
• Updating address and communication in personal places like company portal, bank, subscriptions etc etc.
• Who jo boxes me saaman laaye the usko fekne ke liye ensure you verify with the new society when they collect the Garbage.
