    Hi All,

    Sabse Pehle, Bhiya Ram !

People who are planning to come to Netherlands has a biggest question that there INDIAN SIM will work on not ?
Koi nahi bhai hai batane ke liye, before starting please keep below points in mind :

    • I have taken reference of JIO and Airtel. Most probably you will get similar combination in other carriers but if you have
Airtel / JIO then you have already won a big war ! Apne pass dono hai !
    • This is personal way to keep the things active. Preference might differ as per individuals.
    • I always prefer a ANDROID Mobile because sometimes iPhone does not works. So, Always carry a Android Mobile.!

    Let's start!
There are 2 major factor for keeping the sim active.
    • International Roaming (IR)
    • Balance and Validity

**Simple Funda hai , Unlock/Activate International Roaming on the Sim and keep the validity so that your number is active ( Same as India ) .

Below Table will Give you the simple comparison.

    Feature Airtel JIO
International Roaming By Default its ON By Default its OFF, You have to recharge for atleast *One day International Roaming (499 INR) pack to Unlock it.
    Incoming OTP Free Free
Incoming Call from India Up to 100 rs/min 2 rs/min
    Outgoing India Up to 200 rs/min 2 rs/min
Outgoing OTP 25 rs per msg count 2 rs per msg count
    Rest of the World 200 rs/min 100 inr/min

***You can also try to ask Customer Care of JIO (App/Store) to Unlock International Roaming (IR). You can mention like
I will decide the pack later and recharge, I just need it enabled so that I can travel worry free etc etc. This will save you 499 rs ( One time Recharge)

Network setting / Provider selection in NL:
    • Airtel : Vodafone NL
    • Jio : NL KPN

Settings to keep it on / Verify :

Now, Expert 😊 Conclusion for the Sim card and How to keep it active:

    Airtel :
If you are using Airtel and just want to keep the number on . Since Airtel gives you International Roaming as default activated. I use below plan :
    • • Validity Recharge : 84 days
    • • Balance : 100rs for emergency

Overall from the 1st Month I just recharge my mobile with 455 INR plan for 84 days. You can also recharge for 1 year for 1799. Links: https://www.airtel.in/recharge-online .

    Jio :
Since it does not give International Roaming ON. First you need to recharge with 499 one day International Roaming plan to unlock IR and then Validity recharge of 395 INR each Quarter . And I use below plan after that.
    • • Validity Recharge : 84 days
    • • Balance : 100rs for emergency

Overall in 1st Month you pay 499 extra for IR. But then you are incoming and calling rates are so less that you can actually use this to call in India or receive call from Indian number too.
Overall I feel JIO does give you best option because the rates are too less but Airtel gives you great coverage and signal and if you just want to keep it ON .

Mota Mota hisaab hai, Once IR is activate you can use simple plans of the provider as you are using in India.

Baaki Lebara ke operation ho chuka hai, next post me batate hai !

Cheers, Mahak
