No purpose in this notice will require us to keep your personal information for longer than the period of time in which users have an active account with us. We will securely delete or anonymize your data when it is no longer needed.

We are committed to data security. Your data is not stored insecurely on our developer device. It is stored securely using secure, cloud-based infrastructure provided by Supabase.
Specifically regarding Passwords: We do not store plaintext passwords. Supabase utilizes industry-standard encryption protocols (like bcrypt) for password-based authentication. Passwords and authentications credentials are encrypted and are not visible to the app administrator or developer. We can only see user IDs and emails, not the underlying passwords.
We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures (including secure communication protocols and database security) designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, despite our efforts to secure your information, no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Transmission of personal information to and from our App is at your own risk. You should only access the Services within a secure environment.
This App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we learn that personal information from users less than 13 years of age has been collected, we will take reasonable measures to promptly delete such data from our records. Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage, no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. While we are located in the Netherlands and primary apply GDPR standards, we provide transparency if you use the App as a US resident. Based on your state of residence, you may have rights allowing you greater access to and control over your personal information. If you use the App, we typically do not "sell" your personal information to third parties as defined under applicable US state laws. However, some sharing of de-identified usage data with diagnostics tools could be interpreted differently in specific jurisdictions. Health data includes information related to physical health, mental health, medical conditions, fitness tracking, medical records, or other health-related metrics.
The Namaste NL application is designed to provide community resources, events, and information for individuals living in the Netherlands and does not include any health tracking or medical functionality.
